Even though nations like the United States have invested over $100 billion in foreign aid and weaponry to Ukraine, the nation’s Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba says that none Ukraine’s allies “has done enough.”
Kulelba made this statement on his official Twitter page today.
Ukraine is grateful to partners for their military aid, but we should remain honest with one another: no one has done enough as long as Russian boots remain on Ukrainian ground. Arming our country for victory is the shortest way to restoring peace and security in Europe & beyond.
He said
Dmitry Polyanskiy, Russia’s first deputy permanent representative to the UN, was quick to blast the Ukrainian’s statement.
Translation from Ukrainian: we have squandered our army again, give us more armies and we will continue to pretend that we are fighting Russia on our own. And don’t forget to sponsor our oligarchs’s luxurious life in Europe!
He wrote
Many others on social media were not fond of Mr. Kuleba’s choice of words:
Enough. We Americans are giving you all we can provide and it’s still not enough? We are sending billions upon billions we have spent 25 billion helping your country. Why isn’t it good enough? Especially when it keeps coming???????

This is a money laundering operation. Nothing more.

Let’s be honest. There’re limits to such ‘shaming’ language for not helping Ukraine enough. Zelensky & his team should be mindful of not crossing the line. Ordinary folks struggling in the US & Europe may find it offensive.

They could also do nothing. Learn what gratitude is.

However, to the same token, there were still tons of supporters praising Kuleba’s assertion, though there were also some Ukrainian supporters who had their reservations and told him to frame his words more carefully as to not send the wrong impression.
